Meet the founder
I started by creating rooms where people would remember my name.
Now I’m creating rooms where they’ll remember yours.
I’m Beck Smith, founder of RAYE.
Before building business events and awards programmes, my working life took me through hospitality, customer service, administration and the coal mines, including driving dump trucks.
When I began building my own business, I learnt how powerful relationships could be. I started bringing people together, creating events where business owners could share their stories, meet new people and build connections that continued long after everyone went home.
Those experiences shaped the way I think about reputation, business and opportunity.
Today, I’m bringing those lessons into RAYE, creating environments where ambitious people can be recognised, learn from one another and build relationships that open new conversations.
I know what it feels like to want more for your business and wonder how you’re going to get there.
That’s why I keep building the rooms.
