1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, joining any membership tier, or using any part of RAYE Haus, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. RAYE Haus may update these Terms at any time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified to members by email.
2. Membership Tiers
RAYE Haus operates three membership tiers:
- Mover - A$297/year, billed via Stripe, no application required.
- Resident - A$597/year, billed via Stripe, covering membership and a marketplace storefront. Requires an approved application before account activation.
- Empire - Invitation only. Empire is not open to applications and is granted by RAYE Haus at its sole discretion. Empire membership is a 12-month term, invoiced manually outside of Stripe, and does not renew automatically. Renewal is discussed directly with each member ahead of their term ending.

3. Payment, Billing, and Failed Payments
- Mover and Resident memberships are billed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your provided payment method until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, RAYE Haus will automatically attempt to retry the charge. Your access remains fully active for 7 days from the date of the failed payment. If payment has not succeeded within that 7-day period, your access will be suspended until payment is resolved.
- Suspension of access for non-payment does not delete your profile, posts, listings, or referral history. All data is retained and access is fully restored upon successful payment.
- Empire membership fees are invoiced and paid manually, outside of Stripe, and are subject to the payment terms set out in the individual invoice.
4. Cancellation
- Mover and Resident memberships may be cancelled at any time through the Stripe billing portal accessible from your account.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until that date; no partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.
- Empire membership does not auto-renew. There is no cancellation process required; access simply ends at the conclusion of the 12-month term unless renewed by agreement.
5. Account Termination by RAYE Haus
RAYE Haus reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, at its sole discretion and without refund, for conduct including but not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms, the Values & Standards, the Content Standards, or the Resident Terms
- Misuse of the referral program, including misrepresenting the disclosure requirement or removing/tampering with an auto-generated disclosure, as set out in the Affiliate Disclosure
- Harassment, abuse, or misconduct toward other members or RAYE Haus staff
- Fraudulent activity, including fraudulent marketplace listings or fraudulent referral activity
- Any activity that exposes RAYE Haus to legal or regulatory risk
- Breach of the Privacy Policy or misuse of another member's personal information
Every member agrees to the RAYE Haus Values & Standards, which form part of these Terms. In summary, members agree to:
- Treat other members, staff and guests with respect. No harassment, discrimination, bullying or disparaging language.
- Represent their business honestly, with claims they can stand behind.
- Keep member information private and inside the Haus.
- Not poach members away from the platform or route around marketplace or referral terms to avoid fees owed.
- Not spam or sell without invitation outside agreed channels.
- Deliver on what they sell and handle any dispute directly and fairly.
- Protect the RAYE Haus name and refrain from conduct that brings the community into disrepute.

6. The Directory
The Directory is publicly viewable by any visitor to the RAYE Haus website, whether or not they hold a membership. Messaging another member directly requires an active Mover-tier membership or above. RAYE Haus does not guarantee the accuracy of any information a member chooses to display in their Directory profile, and members are solely responsible for the accuracy of their own listing.
7. Community
RAYE Haus's community spaces exist for discussion, questions, and relationship-building between members. Promotion of products, services, or offers is not permitted within the community spaces. All selling activity must occur exclusively through the Marketplace. RAYE Haus reserves the right to remove any post that breaches this rule and to take action against repeat offenders under Section 5.
8. Marketplace (Resident Tier)
- Only members holding an approved Resident account may list products or services for sale.
- RAYE Haus charges a 10% platform commission on every sale processed through the Marketplace, deducted automatically via Stripe Connect at the point of sale.
- RAYE Haus facilitates payment between buyer and seller and is not a party to the underlying transaction. RAYE Haus makes no warranty as to the quality, legality, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any listing, and is not responsible for a seller's failure to deliver a product or service as described.
- Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for fulfilling orders, and for complying with all applicable consumer law obligations relating to their own products and services.
- RAYE Haus reserves the right to remove any listing, suspend any Resident account, or withhold payout at its discretion where a listing or seller conduct breaches these Terms or applicable law.
9. Refund Policy
- Membership fees (Mover and Resident signup/renewal) are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where required by Australian Consumer Law guarantees that cannot be excluded.
- Empire fees are non-refundable once invoiced and paid, given the bespoke onboarding involved.
- Marketplace purchases: refunds for individual products or services purchased through the Marketplace are governed by the selling member's own stated refund policy on their listing. RAYE Haus is not responsible for issuing refunds on a seller's behalf but may assist in facilitating a resolution between buyer and seller at its discretion. Where a seller fails to honour a legitimate refund request required under Australian Consumer Law, RAYE Haus reserves the right to intervene, including withholding future payouts to that seller.
- Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Referral Program
RAYE Haus operates a referral program available to members. Full detail at Section 12 (Affiliate Disclosure) below.
11. RAYE Awards
Entry to RAYE Awards is available to members of every tier, including Empire, at a fee of A$125 per entry. Entry is not included free with any membership tier.
12. Affiliate / Referral Disclosure
RAYE Haus operates a referral program. Members who generate a referral link may earn a commission when someone joins RAYE Haus through that link.
Every referral link automatically displays the following disclosure wherever it is shared: "Sharing this link may earn the referrer a commission if you join RAYE Haus." This disclosure is generated automatically and cannot be removed, edited, or hidden by the member sharing the link.
Commission rates, what qualifies as a valid referral, and payment terms are set out in the separate Referral Program Terms provided to members at the time they generate a referral link. RAYE Haus keeps records of referral activity and commission payments, and reserves the right to audit this activity for compliance with these Terms and with Australian Consumer Law.
13. Empire Room
Empire Room is a separate program from general RAYE Haus membership, open only to women, invitation only, with its own payment structure and terms, which are provided directly to invited members.
14. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, trademarks, and platform functionality belonging to RAYE Haus remain the exclusive property of RAYE Haus. Members retain ownership of the content they post (Directory profiles, listings, community posts) but grant RAYE Haus a licence to display that content on the platform as needed for the platform to function. Members may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute RAYE Haus's own branding or platform content without written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RAYE Haus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, including loss of income, loss of business opportunity, or disputes between members. RAYE Haus's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount paid by the member in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this section excludes any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and members submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
